Did Puffy Really Beatdown The Late Shakir Stewart Over Kim Porter ?

This ish is CRAZY !!!!
My gossip homegirl, Myra Panache just put me onto more Diddy drama from Mark Curry's new book. Can you beleive that Kim Porter and the late Shakir Stewart used to date ? Where the hell was I when all this was going on?
According to Mark Curry via his book, "Dancing With The Devil":
In June 2000 while awaiting trial, Puff flew to the island of Capri in Italy to attend L.A. Reid's marriage to school teacher Erica Holton.
By then, Jennifer Lopez was already distancing herself from Puff. Her family, friends, and managers warned her to avoid him.
Once he finally accepted that Lopez was gone, he immediately began courting Kim Porter once more.
The only problem was that Kim had put their relationship in the past. She was seeing Shakir Stewart (2nd photo), head of Atlanta-based Hitco Music.
Shakir was a good brother and businessman who did right by his artists. Beyonce was was one of the first artists he signed to Hitco and Ciara was signed after he took on duties at LaFace.
Puff ran into Kim on the island. Somehow he found out a phone message from Shakir to Kim.
"How are my babies doing?" Shakir asked her on the message.
When Puff realized Kim was doing fine without him, he was incensed.
After summoning a couple of his bodyguards, Puff left the Palace and went to Shakir's room at the hotel. He bammed on Shakir's door until he answered it.
"What the fuck you doing leaving messages on my bi**h's cell phone?" Puff raged. "Where do you get off saying you the daddy of my kids?"
Shakir knew that Puff never confronted anyone without backup, so he was afraid to defend himself.
He tried to explain to Puff that he and Kim were only friends and that he was joking around when he left the message. But he also told Puff that he had no business trying to run the life of a woman that he repeatedly abandoned.
Puff called him a liar and some other expletives, then picked up a chair and clobbered Shakir with it. As Shakir crumpled to the floor, Puff ran away from the hotel with his guards.
Reid was furious when he discovered how Puff had attacked Shakir, at his wedding, no less.
According to Curry, the incident became a turning point in their friendship. Reid finally understood why Benny Medina had concluded that Puff was out of control and incorrigible.
Shakir was so afraid of Puff's henchmen coming to his offices in Atlanta to finish him off that he avoided going to work for weeks.
You mean to tell me that Puff beatdown Shakir over Kim damn Porter??? Puff, you heartless bastard!! [how could be so heartless - insert Kanye West hit here] How times have changed. Puffy couldn't pull these stunts today. The blogs would roast his ass - more then they do now. Is Puff ever going to address this book?

You guys got it good. The latest music, movies gets seen and heard by you guys first....then us after a few months or years.
If you anybody gets to read this book, just tell me the most juicy parts about it. The more this book is leak, the more I learn about Puffy and the more I despise that selfish , greedy SOB.

This is a true story. I lived in Atlanta during that time and ran in the same circles as those mentioned. Some people think this incident propelled Shakir's career in the long run. He didn't snotch on Puff and press charges and LA looked out for him.
I believe it. I also think Shakir and Puff had more in common than Kim... If you know what I mean.
I can definately believe this shit....Damn, I think I just might have to cop that book now.. I wonder if there is anything interesting left to read..Seems like all the juicy details have been released... I bet if he never would of said the part about "how my kids are doing", Puff wouldn't have whipped dat ass.... I think that was the straw that broke the camels back...Cause I think I would of beat a mutha fucka up that was messing with my baby moms but asking how my kids were doing like he was the father, knowing damn well I take care of the kids...Yeah, that's what you call certified beef...But never the less, Puff a bitch, why couldn't you have just fought dude man to man??? Now knowing this has happened to Shakir, I wonder what other fucked up, scandolous ass things happened to him tha made him want to take his life...I think it's some really deep, dark secrets surrounding that mans life, that we will never know...

a man is always shocked when a woman is doing better off without him.....Kim can do FAR better than Diddy.....but he obviously has a rep of sending the GOONZ out if anyone gets close to her
