I knew it was a gun shot but I didnt really know where - I was hoping it wasn't the head. My brother killed himself the same way in June with a shot gun. I felt it was 1 of the most selfish things ever to have a family member come home and witness such a scene. His fam is most def in my prayers - Oakland lost a good one!

My prayers go out to the Stewart family and friends. Respect for holding off on putting out the name til now.

MAYBE HE SUFFERED FROM DEEP DEPRESSION AND HE JUST COULDNT SHAKE IT OFF. DEPRESSION IS VERY REAL PEOPLE!! DONT BE ASHAMED TO GET MEDICATION TO SHAKE IT OFF-JUST KEEP IT ON THE LOW AND DONT TELL NOBODY.

Time will reveal, but pressure at work seems incredible. There are people losing their jobs, houses and families, and if as someone said this was a dtrng dude, you walk away from the madness before you let it consume you.

Depression, no matter what's at the root, is serious. All that glitters is not gold. What may seem to be a perfect life to you and me, is never that. Everyone has challenges. And, you truly never know what pain people are enduring regardless of the amount of success they may achieve. My prayers are with Shake and his family.

If you knew Shake you know no matter what Sunday was family day and he LOVED his family. He loved her and he adored his children. He was a tormented soul. Anyone that had a conversation with him I mean a real conversation with in the last 4 months could see the difference. You can only hide your pain for so long. Yes he was a strong individual. Shake was a man's man and that is why this is so unbelievable. Strong people fall short too. So contrary to the drama people may want to spin from this. The conspiracy theorys are not true. He was deeply depressed by the pressures of the game. Not by Def Jam as a company but by the music industry as a whole. I remember he told me sometimes when I go out I just wanna have a drink and talk about the game instead I have all kinds of people comin at me wanting me to do something for them. That is just the tip of the iceberg. Its sad, unbelievable and real at the same time. Its like a bad dream that you are waiting to wake up from. It is really amazing how ignorant people are. Ralph Nader? You think this is a joke? This man is dead at 34. His children are fatherless, his girl is without him as is his family, and the industry is worse without him. And still you see it fit to be completely disrespectful and crack a joke. An "Nkog" how can you speak on his fiancee'? Until you are with someone who is this far gone you can not say how intervening should or can occur. The stories state that she contacted friends and asked for help with him, in the end this was his weakness not hers. And Lord only knows what was really going on. But people just be human and be sensitive to the fact that a loss is a loss. It is so sad that he felt so helpless that he did not want to wait another day to see if it got any better. Its mental warfare everyday for all of us, some of us just have greater obstacles within.
