Maino Goes 'Ike' On Tina, AKA Yung Berg??

Posted on October 5, 2008 9:38 AM

It's been kinda quiet on the gossip front these past few weeks. So what's one to do when they want to get their name out their to get the people talking? They stage a publicity stunt.

The current east coast King, Maino made the media rounds yesterday over a rumor that he smacked his bitch -- Yung Berg --up at an Atlanta nightclub. Maino is currently on a college tour and was in the A to celebrate homecoming.

Popular radio personality, Charlamagne Tha God alerted me to the incident late yesterday afternoon, and even spoke about it on his nationally syndicated radio program, along side Mrs. Wendy Williams.

From what I understand, Berg had a little too much to drink and approached the "Hi Hater" MC in attempt to clown him over Maino's open hand logo. But it's clear that Berg is the butt of all jokes because apparently Maino showed him what the logo was all about by opening up his hand and smacking the lil tike across the face.

The incident has apparently sent all the gossip blogs into overdrive. While I wasn't there that night, a lot of the people who I'm talking to is telling me that it really wasn't as dramatic as people are trying to make it seem.

One of my sources says that "nobody even noticed the incident".

While it's not my intention to account for an incident that I didn't see for myself, this seems nothing more to me then a publicity stunt to drum up interest.

I mean Yung Berg?? Come on!

I called all Atlanta hospitals to make sure Yung Berg wasn't in intensive care over the brutal physical altercation. And I've got good news, he's OK.
