Hey man 50's 2nd album the massacre came out on a thursday and still sold over a million copies. It came out in 05.

mr me too seems a little retarded. However, people knew Wayne's numbers were going to be big, he didn't have a hard time selling 500,000 last time. He sold 1.2 million of tha carter ii. I honestly don't know about this but I would believe that the record label bought maybe 30-40,000 of his record. Like, say his record was at 970k, they may have bought some too push him over. But i doubt they bought more than 50,000. But i honestly think his numbers were legit, i wasn't too surprised to see him sell a million.

Obviously tons of units were bought. In 06' his buzz was huge had one of the biggest singles stuntin like my daddy and the like father like son album didnt even go platinum and sold 176k first week. Album sales are way down from 06' to now so come on. I say he probably went gold or a little more 500k-700k if that. At least tyga sold some crazy numbers. Look people: don't let the fact that 50 cent recorded the conversation throw you off of the real issue here. I mean, everyone should be aware of something happening; yet one person is saying it never happened and the other is saying that it did happen. Someone is lying. However, in this instance, we know that the conversation took place; so there is no disputing this fact. With this said, I always liked Young Buck and his talent, period. I want to establish this. But, Young Buck, in essence, thought that he was better than Game. Therefore, he felt that if Game can succeed w/o 50 Cent, than so can he. On the other hand, what he forgot to take into consideration is that 50 cent spearheaded Game's success. And, since he wanted to branch out on his own...had he had 50 Cent's blessing, he could have benefited from the marketing and brand recognizing machine that 50 Cent had already established. Face it - there just aren't as many albums to sell in rap anymore. They'll either get it week 1 or week 5, but it's the same people buying all the albums in hip-hop.

3) No, the album isn't classic. I'm glad it wasn't as repeditive as I expected, but it also wasn't as hard as I expected either. I'll give dude a B at best, and that's only because he had a little more diversity and creativity than he usually does.
